    * Make potato juice and apply on the face. Wash off after 15 minutes with cold water and vinegar.

Carrot

Carrot is another vegetable, which is rich in vitamins and is good for the eyes. Though not commonly used in skin care,  usage of various kinds of carrot is gaining importance. Carrot contains carotene, VB1, B2, Vitamin C and ether oils that are increasingly used in skin care products. Carotenoids are a class of easily assimilated anti oxidants, which are abundant in carrots. These anti oxidants protect the human cells from harmful free radical attacks, carrot oil is an extract of carrot if mix with any base oil it helps the skin tremendously. It cures dry skin problems and regenerates the basal level. Carrot seed oil is another extract. It keeps the skin alive. Tomato

Up till now the cosmetic word was not open to its properties but it is finding its place in many skin care products. Tomato has alpha hydroxy acids responsible for keeping PH of the skin balanced. How to use Tomato:

    * For good complexion, spread the pulp of tomato on the face. Wash off with warm water after 1 hour. Do this daily for noticeable results.
    * It is used to reduce suntan. Make a juice of tomato and cucumber; apply on the face for 10 minutes and wash you will see the difference.
    * To one tbsp of tomato juice at few drops of lime juice. Apply and remove after 15 minutes it helps in shrinking of pores.
    * Tomato is helpful in controlling aging. Cut tomato in thick circular pieces. Gently massage the face in upward circular motions for 10 minutes, and then rinse the face with cold water. It is actually very therapeutic.

Wax Gourd
